Wireless bridge Innacomm W3400V6 and D-Link DSL-2730E

Please refer to my first post about bridging D-Link DSL-2640B and D-Link DSL-2730E.

This entry comes off after my first router (D-Link DSL-2640B) broken after a heavy lightning during a long ‘balik kampung’ leaves. I have got my main router replaced with Innacomm W3400V6 by TM. Please take note that in order to access the web interface, the default password now is “Adm@xxxx” where xxxx is the last four digits of device MAC address.

Same settings apply to router B, only update the new MAC address of router A. Please refer here.

Within router A:

1. Click ‘Wireless’, replicatethe same settings as of Wireless settings of router B. Put the same name in SSID.
2. Click security, apply the same settings as router B. For me I don’t use any network authentication, but got the SSID hidden.
3. Click Wireless Bridge, make the Bridge Restrict disabled.
4. Click Advance, ensure the Band and Channel is the same as router B.

That’s it now router B and A are bridged.
