Prior to moving numbers of domains to this registrar, I thought it is somewhere that everyone with domain names would like to be. So when EstDomains was banned by many ISPs, I moved to GoDaddy. Yes it looks like GoDaddy is the most advanced registrar when it is about domains.

But there’s abundance of tools and menus to be selected from, and I think it is quite confusing. Last 3 months, I tried selling one of my domain name, and took “Home Page Featured Listing” service. I did not even notice that it put an auto service renewal on, which means that GoDaddy will initiate this service renewal on behalf of me.

Remember when I say confusing, it really is. You have a lots of links, lots of products, lots of colors in front of your face and you tick “YES”, without knowing that you will be charged again after 3 months for that same useless “homepage featured listing” service.

Tonite, I spend hours looking for place where I can cancel the subscription but it is nowhere. Sounds unintelligent, but who cares about a lot of features when what I actually need is simply a domain name and once-a-year charging like everyone else do. I hope someone in GoDaddy’s support team got my ticket.
